Last RSS is simple yet powerfull PHP class to parse RSS 0.9x, 1.0 and 2.0. It uses quick regular expressions, instead of an XML parser, returning an associative array with RSS fields as a result. Transparent caching doesn't cache RSS file directly, meaning cached data isn't parsed every time while still providing access to individual fields. pubDate/lastBuildDate is converted to any date/time format. Last RSS supports conversion of all character encoding in iconv library.
